North American Black Bears Photo Workshop

Photograph wild North American black bears in their natural environment. DNR estimates there are 12,000-15,000 black bears in Minnesota. We can anticipate seeing up to 60 different bears on a given day during the workshop. Online instructional webinar in advance of the workshop to prepare. Hands-on assistance in photographing adult, juvenile and baby black bears on the ground and in trees. Maximum of 8 participants.

Springtime Wildlife Babies

A minimum of 8 photo sessions with wildlife babies born in the spring of 2020 which can include wolf pups, grey fox kits, Siberian lynx kitten, raccoon pups, coyote pups, Canadian lynx kitten, porcupine baby, red fix kits, bobcat kitten, badger pup and fisher pup. An instructional online webinar in advance of the workshop that covers wildlife photography composition tips, camera settings and recommended equipment. Guidance and assistance throughout the workshop. Evening sessions for critiques and post processing demonstrations. Maximum of 12 participants.

Wildlife in Winter Snow

8 photo sessions selected from the following species: Siberian tiger, Snow leopard, Amur leopard, Grizzly bear, Mountain lion, Arctic Fox, Red Fox, Grey Fox, Cross Fox, Canadian Lynx, Bobcat, Gray Wolf, Arctic Wolf, Coyote, Porcupine, Raccoon, Badger, Skunk, Pine marten and more. The animals are healthy and will have their gorgeous winter coats. Photograph wildlife at eye level in natural settings and fresh snow. The most common lens used is a 70-200mm. An instructional online webinar in advance of the workshop that covers wildlife photography composition tips, camera settings and recommended equipment.
